A trained eye on the trees that have you worried. We assess structural risk and recommend the right course — removal, bracing, or monitoring.
Dead trees, dangerous leaners, or trees in the way of your plans. We take them down cleanly and haul everything off your property.
No stump left behind. We grind to below grade so you can replant, grade, or build without a reminder of what used to be there.
Selective thinning, ladder fuel removal, and defensible space clearing around your home. We reduce what burns without stripping your land bare.
When a storm drops trees across your drive or your yard, we clear it fast. We handle emergency response and full post-storm debris removal.

Our Story
I grew up with timber in my family's blood. My mother's people were in the Oregon timber trade for generations. My father's family ran cattle in Texas. I landed somewhere in between — on a ranch in Tumalo, raising a family, caring for horses and goats, and doing careful work on the land people trust me with.
Tumalo Tree Care is the tree side of that work. We focus on what we know: ponderosa pine, juniper, mixed conifers in a high desert climate where overstocked stands and dry summers make tree care a safety matter, not just an aesthetic one. We're part of a three-company family — alongside Byrd Land Co. for land management and EmberLine Fire for wildfire defense. That means your property has a team behind it, not just a single trade.
